Properties

433 MHz, 868 Mhz, Expander, LoRa

The iO-LoRa is a high-performance wireless expander designed for mission-critical installations requiring reliable range. Utilizing advanced LoRa (Long Range) technology, it provides a stable bidirectional link up to 1000 meters away from the control panel in line-of-sight. This expander is the perfect solution for medium to large-scale sites, remote garages, and industrial facilities where traditional wiring is difficult and standard wireless range is insufficient.

Professional 1000 m Range

Breakthrough LoRa technology ensures a secure, two-way radio link over distances up to 1000m. Ideal for protecting detached buildings or expansive perimeters without expensive trenching.

Versatile I/O Control

Features 1 dedicated digital input (NC/NO) and 1 powerful relay output (250V AC, 4A). Remotely monitor a sensor and control high-voltage equipment like pumps or industrial gates simultaneously.

1-Wire Smart Monitoring

Equipped with a 1-Wire data bus for connecting temperature sensors or iButton readers. Monitor environmental conditions or manage user access at remote gates through a single module.

Bi-Directional Security

Features secure, encrypted two-way communication. The system constantly supervises the connection and provides real-time feedback on relay states and sensor status.

Detailed System Capabilities

  • Operates on 433 MHz (4F) or 868 MHz (8F) bands with LoRa modulation.

  • Connects to FLEXI SP3 control panels via the RF-LORA transceiver.

  • Expandable: connect up to 8 iO-LoRa expanders to a single system for extensive coverage.

  • Adjustable modulation speed (DIP switch) to prioritize either speed or maximum penetration distance.

  • 1 programmable input (NC or NO type selectable).

  • 1 Relay output: handles up to 250V AC / 4A, perfect for direct power switching.

  • 1-Wire bus supports 1 temperature sensor (DS18S20 / DS18B20) or iButton (Dallas) readers.

  • Reader status indication: visual LED feedback (Red/Green) on connected CZ-Dallas readers.

  • Visual LED indication for Network strength (0-10 scale), Output state, and Power.

  • Internal DIP switches for easy radio channel selection and modulation tuning.

  • Real-time supply voltage monitoring (Low voltage alert at ≤11.5 V).

  • Built-in tamper protection against unauthorized enclosure opening.

  • Fast enrollment via TrikdisConfig: simply enter the serial number and configure zones/PGMs.

  • Remote configuration and firmware updates through the main control panel.

  • “Link quality” (LQI) metrics available in software for professional site survey and troubleshooting.

  • Compact enclosure design suitable for various installation environments.
